Cruach-Mhòna (pronounced Cru-ach Vhona) means peat stack in Scots Gaelic. Breaking with the Bunnahabhain norm of light peating, it’s different; something everyone should try. This limited edition is exclusively available in World Duty Free
It’s the smoke from the peated malted barley that lends this limited edition Bunnahabhain Islay single malt its distinctive taste. And, because Cruach-Mhòna is of natural colour and unchill-filtered, its taste remains pure, strong and truly special, all the way from casking to bottling to enjoying.
The nose offers crisp and lively experience with sweet peaty aromas and notes of hay and dry smoke.
The taste is quite light and malty and sweet with smoky, peaty taste of seaweed and sea salt.
The finish is dry and smoky, spicy and lingering.
